Sooooo tired but can't get to sleep! Argh!


Played great in two big tourneys today and just missed money in both. Paid for them with a pre-bed Sit & Go :) Night all!
So, a Williams white-wash on the women's side. How dull. #wimbledon
Svylturys. Lithuanian Wheat Beer (Weissbier). Cloudy, citrus notes. A good weiss but no reason to buy instead of a German one. #beer #bier

Poker comes of age on British TV - Saturday, 31st May 2008, 17:20:38 BST.

There's been poker shown on TV over here for a few years now so why am I saying that it's coming of age now? Well, previously the coverage fell into two categories.

  1. You could watch contrived, studio-bound poker late night on Channel 4.
  2. You could watch the "real thing" - the big tournaments from real poker rooms - on obscure digital channels
Well, now the European Poker Tour has come to Channel 4 (still late at night but that's what DVRs are for).

At the same time, the World Series has just started at the Rio.
