A lot of fun, good turnout, some very nice wines, especially the less expensive ones - go figure.

One of particular note was a white from Alsace. Rachel brought it. In 2002 she was on a walking holiday in Alsace, and the only toilet possibilities on the walks were basically to nip behind a vine, so it's entirely possible that the 2003 vintage that she brought could have been fertilised, in part, by herself.

Wine night at college tonight, the rules are as follows:

  • Bring a bottle of your favorite wine that can be bought
    • At a supermarket
    • For under a tenner
  • Only drink wines brought by other people

This way, we expand our wine experience, knowing we're drinking wines recommended by other people, which reduces the risk of wasting money.

Two Tomboy updates in as many days! Version 0.3.1 is now out, fixes some bugs in 0.3.0.

Been reminded that I need to do a rewrite of my perl script for producing reports on songs used with Presenter. At the moment, the filename it writes to, and, well, every option is hard-coded, need to make that promptable, or readable from a simple rc file. Also need to change the sort of output so that rather than just a list of the titles in a TAB delimited file, one line per service, it gives you that AND a simple list of all the songs that have been used at all, with the author and copyright information if it's available.

Means I'm going to have to boot into a less free OS at some point, and install Cygwin at some point.
