The server that hosts rubberturnip.org.uk, usr-local-bin.org, jamesthevicar.com and amandaloveshamsters.com will be off line from approx 0000 UTC on 26 Jan 2005 (that's midnight between Tuesday and Wednesday night UK time folks). This is because the server is being moved 150 miles to one of the UK's premier hosting facilities. It is likely to be out for up to six hours.
Email should not be unaffected as I host my own primary MX.
That's right, someone at Cranfield Uni, using GNOME just appeared in a piece on BBC Breakfast.
The crummy thing is that it was a piece about so-called "Evil Twin" Wi-Fi exploitation, where someone sets up a spoof hotspot to intercept things like online bank details. The GNOME user was their 1337 h@X0R, abusing the poor innocent Windoze user across the table from him. Pah!
